The sat on the bench over looking the river and the bridge.  It was his favorite spot and whenever he saw it he was always reminded of his daughter.  But now she was growing up and they rarely got to take walks like they had when she was younger and had more time for him.  He was very wistful at the moment, wishing that they had more moments like this that he could remember.  She linked her arm through his and curled up to his side so he could shield her from the cold winds of that wintery morning.  They laughed as they recalled memories of their long Saturday walks they shared together and she smiled, called him Daddy, and they walked home together, just as they had for years.
